YOU ARE WELCOME HERE
St. Luke's is a caring community made up of individuals who love God,
each other and those God gives us to care for. No one is a stranger at St. Luke's.
We welcome all of our brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of race, gender,
economic status, sexual orientation, marital status or age.
We firmly believe that God's grace is for all of God's children.
The congregation is a member of the NJ Synod
of the EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH IN AMERICA.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
10:00 AM Worship with Holy Communion
Each Sunday we gather around God's word and sacrament (all baptized
Christians who believe that the Lord is present in the sacrament are welcome
to come to the table) to hear about his creative and redeeming love for us.
Children are welcome and encouraged to attend worship. Coloring pages
are available for use during the service. They are invited to come forward for
a Youth Conversation. If you need to take your child out for any reason, you can
hear the service in the narthex through a speaker. A nursery is also available.

(next service April 17)
About Taizé (pronounced ta-ZAY)
The Taizé Prayer Service, named after the village in France where it originated,
is a group method of Christian Prayer that combines Bible readings
with meditative silences and repetitive singing /chanting.
Songs are often 1 or 2 lines long and are repeated over and over.
This service is loose in structure.
Icons, candles or other objects will be used to help focus our prayers.
It is our most sincere hope that, for this brief time, you can be still
and be at peace in the presence of God.
